The Charleston Comedy scene is muthereffin problem (in a good way!). I am featured in the Charleston Comedy Mixtape. The mixtape is the brainchild of mutlitalented comedic geniuses, Shawna Jarrett and Joseph Coker. It includes an array of great comedy sets (and one rap song) recorded in Charleston. My set is from one my first showcases at Joe Pasta. Can't wait to hear the next volume!

The Sunday Night Comedy Festival at the Punchline marks my second competition this month. The special thing about this competition is that it is monthly. So if you do not place or make it to the finals, just come back next month!
I think some comedians find competitions a little daunting and intimindating. However, I think compeititons are a great way for to really hone my best jokes and my delivery. Even though I did not win the Charleston Comedy competiton, it definitely helped me with this competition. It was fresh in my mind where my set hit and where it didn't. I came in second place on Sunday! Shoutouts to all the comedians that performed and everyone who came out and supported live comedy! Here's a list of all the winners: 1st place - Jacey Falk 2nd place - Me 3rd place - Dexter Fugerson 4th - Mike Haun For more info on how you can watch or perform on the Sunday Night Festival: http://punchline.com/shows.asp?showdate=12/18/2016 Last Friday, I was on the Holy City Ha Ha showcase with Jessica Mickey, Shawna Jarrett, and Lily Slay at the Sparrow! This was a super fun show with a great, engaged audience. I started comedy in Charleston so it is always good to be back and see everyone's new material and share any of mine that I have. I love the girl power theme throughout the night. I love being around women who kill (on stage lol).
Lily Slay crushed the end of this show with a hilarious song about becoming a step mom. I was in tears man. Shoutouts to all the anazing performers and special thanks to Genesis Gonzales for giving me some time. Check out upcoming shows with Girls Bits Comedy at https://girlybitscomedy.com/ ! December is a busy comedy month for me already and I'm ok with it! This past Saturday was the finals of the Charleston comedy competition. It's always great to be back in the city where it all started. Charleston is not only beautiful, but it has a thriving comedy scene. That being said, I did not place in the competition. However, I was just happy to make it to the finals. Last year, I was watching the competition so to make it to the finals was surreal to me. Special thanks to Jon Antoine for making me join it this year.
Congratulations, to Mike Brocki for winning both the judges' and the audience vote. I've been wathing Brocki since I started and to say this was well deserved would be an understatement. Shoutout to Hagan Chase Ragland and Vince Fabra for placing second and third respectively. Losing to funny comedians makes me feel 100% better. Lol! I'll be back in Charleston for a show this Friday with Genesis Gonzales' Girly Bits at the Sparrow. https://girlybitscomedy.com/ Last Friday, I opened up for the HILARIOUS Mia Jackson at Relapse. I have been following Mia's comedy since Last Comic Standing and it was an honor to open for her. This was a very intimate and great crowd. Relapse Theater holds one of the first open mics I went to in the city. It was great to actually do a show there. Mia Jackson was very warm and encouraging. Watching her work the crowd inspired me alot! Can't wait to see her in action again :)
